Our design team can provide you with custom IC design solutions spanning a huge range of radio, mixed-signal, and analogue functions. We have the capability to deliver at all phases of design, from initial architecture decisions, process choice, and specification through to the delivery of GDSII databases ready for manufacturing. We have designed a wide variety of circuits operating from baseband to 10GHz including

  • LNAs, mixers, and fully integrated VCOs up to 10GHz.
  • RF and IF AGCs, limiter RSSI strips.
  • ADCs: delta-sigma, flash, sub-ranging, pipeline, and successive approximation.
  • DACs: current-steering.
  • Synthesisers: integer-N, fractional-N, clock PLLs.
  • Crystal oscillators from 32kHz to 40MHz.
  • Active and passive filters: polyphase, GmC, BiQuad, Sallen&Key.
  • Line drivers, transimpedance, and transconductance amplifiers.
  • General purpose analogue blocks: regulators, bandgaps, etc.
  • Full custom high-speed ECL and CMOS digital circuits.
  • Power amplifiers.

We have designed on most modern semiconductor processes including CMOS from 0.13um, Bipolar, BiCMOS, SiGe BiCMOS, and GaAs HBT.

RiverBeck has experience in a wide variety of CAD software packages including the Cadence® IC tool flow as well as packages such as SPW and MatLab for system design and modelling. We also use more specialist packages including ASITIC for inductor design.
